In Loving Memory
MIDNIGHT KITTY

MEMORIES
by Elvis Presley

Memories, pressed between the pages of my mind...
Memories, sweetened through the ages just like wine...

Quiet thoughts come floating down
And settle softly to the ground,
Like golden autumn leaves around my feet.
I touched them and they burst apart with sweet memories...

Sweet memories...

Of holding hands and red bouquets,
And twilight trimmed in purple haze,
And laughing eyes and simple ways,
And quiet nights and gentle days with you.

Memories, pressed between the pages of my mind...
Memories, sweetened through the ages just like wine...
Memories, memories

Of holding hands and red bouquets,
And twilight trimmed in purple haze,
And laughing eyes and simple ways,
And quiet nights and gentle days with you.

Memories, pressed between the pages of my mind...
Memories, sweetened through the ages just like wine...
Memories, memories, sweet memories, memories...

Tributes to Midnight Kitty
PurrsKitty's Memories

My baby Midnight was born on my birthday, June 6, in 1993, in my sister's back yard. He told you all about this if you read his story (click link above). Through the years he was a loving and playful companion to my little girl kitty Velvet, for whom I initially got him. Velvet and I were, and still are, very close, but her Mommie Kitty had to go to the office to work and had to leave her home alone; thus entered Midnight Kitty when he was only 2 months old. As Midnight grew up, they became best playmates :)

Midnight developed and was diagnosed in April 2003 with hyperthyroidism and feline diabetes as well as asthma. We treated him with the best of care, giving him his medicines faithully and timely, but we lost control of the disease during a blackout on August 14, 2003, when we suddenly lost our electrical service. Midnight went to kitty heaven, the Rainbow's Bridge, the next day, August 15, 2003 at 12:30pm edt.

Midnight was always loving and playful, a very happy kitty who was full of energy, and I will always miss his purring.

Velvet Kitty's Memories

*Meow* PurrrRRrrRRrrrr!! I will miss my playmate Midnight Kitty. I loved him and always will. We acted like rival siblings at times when it came to feeding time, but he was always good company for me, and we would kiss and give each other kitty hugs often as we passed by each other.

I will miss the times we chased each other through the house. Sometimes he caught me, and sometimes I got away, but I enjoyed our times at play, and I will miss my playmate.

*Meow* Midnight Kitty! I'll see you again when I get there. I love you.
